Thankfully this comic wasn't based on any real events! 
The story behind is is that I was going to go camping with ~Frap last november and I thought, "Hey, I should make a comic just for laughs about something that I don't plan on happening!" So, just for the heck of it I made this.
Now, I've never been camping with him before so this event never happened! And even if it did I hopefully wouldn't grab a can full of gasoline! (Which wouldn't be near a fire, anyway unless of course you were a boyscout in my brother's troop. They honestly can NOT have a campfire without flammable liquids near by to make it burn hotter and brighter!)
